Review policy

Please read the current preferences before sending a book. It helps everyone find the right fit.

Books considered

Baby and toddler books, ages 0-3
Children’s books, ages 4-8
Middle-grade books, ages 9-12
Clean young adult books, ages 13-17

Books not considered

Book Zone Reviews does not review books outside these groups, or books with magic, paranormal leanings, atheistic viewpoints, foul language, hate, or abuse of any kind. The exception is when abuse is used as a contrast to show a triumphant ending.

Accepted formats

Kindle, EPUB, and PDF ebooks, audiobooks, and paperbacks are accepted.

Schedule and review approach

The current review schedule has a four-month waiting period. Blog tours and certain new releases already committed to through publishers may be considered on a different timeline.

Reviews are written with respect for the time, persistence, and heart that goes into creating a book. If a book is likely to receive a low rating, Book Zone Reviews may contact the author before posting.

Reviews may be cross-posted to Amazon, BookBub, Christian Book, Goodreads, or The StoryGraph.
